Time Travelers: Then & Now
1st - 3rd
Time Travelers is an interactive class where students explore how life has changed over time by comparing then and now.
Each week, we’ll visit different time periods and look at everyday life: how people lived, traveled, ate, learned, worked, and played and how those things compare to today. Students will discuss similarities and differences, imagine how they might have lived back then, and think about what has changed, what stayed the same, and why.
Activities include discussion, visual prompts, simple games, and imaginative exercises. The focus is on curiosity, comparison, and creative thinking rather than memorizing facts. Reading and writing are kept light, and participation is flexible.
