Geometry

In this class, we will master key concepts in Geometry—from points, lines, and planes to circles, triangles, and quadrilaterals. Students will also learn about angles, radicals, the Pythagorean Theorem, and methods for proving triangle congruence. 

Each week, we will cover a new lesson, and students will receive 4–5 pages of practice to complete at home. There will be four tests throughout the year, along with occasional short quizzes.

Prerequisites: C or better in Algebra 1

Homework: 4 hours

Student provided supplies: Math U See Geometry text and student workbook DVDs and test booklet are optional 

protractor, compass, calculator and notebook to keep notes, etc in
