Finding Your Voice
Formerly Voices in Action, this newly evolved class, Finding Your Voice keeps the powerful public speaking foundation students love—while going deeper into confidence, self-belief, and personal growth.
Students will learn and practice different types of speeches, memorization techniques, voice articulation, eye contact, stage presence, and body language—all essential skills for eventually speaking in front of larger audiences. But before stepping onto the big stage, we focus on the fundamentals: believing in ourselves, building authentic confidence, and strengthening our voice through 1-on-1 projects and supportive small-group work.
Through writing original speeches, memorizing scenes and monologues, collaborative group projects, and engaging performance exercises, students will grow at their own pace in a safe, encouraging environment. Finding Your Voice is about more than public speaking—it’s about discovering the courage to be heard and learning how to communicate with clarity, strength, and heart.
