In this online creative writing class, students will explore the world of storytelling and selfexpression through a variety of engaging activities each week. Assignments will range from short stories and writing prompts to experimenting with different writing styles, genres, and formats—including comic strips and more. Students and parents will need to log into Google Classroom each week to view the posted assignment. New assignments will be available by Friday evening or Saturday morning to give students plenty of time to complete their work. My goal is to help students discover their inner writer while having fun creating, writing, and exploring new ideas.
Prerequisites: Ability to write, type, and follow directions
Homework: 1-2 hours per week
Google Classroom: Yes
Student provided supplies: Students are required to access Google classroom and will need to check for posted assignments and materials needed for the day of class. All students will be given a FACE Google Classroom login
Monthly Class Fee: $36
Class Hour: Online Thursdays from 9 - 9:55 AM or 10 - 10:55 (2 sections available)
