Building & Beyond Lego

In Building & Beyond, students will explore the exciting world of engineering—including architectural, mechanical, civil, and more. While LEGO will be a major part of our hands-on learning, we’ll also experiment with a variety of other building materials to expand creativity and problem-solving skills. This class is all about having fun while learning foundational engineering principles and construction techniques. Students will be encouraged to think like engineers as they design, build, test, and improve their creations.

Each week, students will receive optional “fun work” to complete or continue their projects at home. For every three completed and returned fun work assignments, students will get to choose a prize from the Treasure Box!

Prerequisites: Students should have basic reading, writing and cutting skills and the enjoyment of building with lego and other materials.

Homework: Optional 1 hour

Google Classroom: Yes for parents

Student provided supplies: Occasional special project materials

Monthly Class Fee: $35

Supply Fee: $35 per semester

Supply Fee Includes: Most materials for this class.
