The Art of Argument

Everyone wants to sell you something, but you don't have to buy it! Learn to defend yourself from bad logic, identify marketing schemes, and use good logic to justify your own thoughts. 

Using a combination of teaching time, hands on projects, and madcap debates over nonsense we will work to identify and avoid 28 common logical fallacies in this fun, interactive class.

High Schoolers who complete all coursework plus one paper may earn 1/2 credit elective. 6th graders with advanced reading comprehension and writing skills may take this class with teacher permission.
