In this class, we’ll explore the fundamentals of economics and financial literacy to help students understand how money works in both personal and global contexts. Topics will include:
- The time value of money
- Supply and demand
- Debt and credit
- Corporate structures
- Taxes and insurance
- Buying a home or car
- Saving and investing
This course is designed to provide practical knowledge and real-world skills that students can apply in everyday life and future financial decisions.
This is a hybrid course that will meet twice a week, once online and once in person on Fridays.
Prerequisites: Ability to do math: Multiplication / division with decimals.
