Willkommen! (Welcome!) I'm excited to have you join this German class! Whether you're an 8th grader or an adult, this course is designed to introduce you to the basics of the German language in a fun and engaging way. As a native German speaker, I look forward to sharing not only the language but also insights into German culture and everyday
expressions. We'll focus on building a strong foundation in pronunciation, vocabulary, and simple sentence structures, helping you start speaking, reading, and understanding German step by step. To reinforce what we learn in class, there will be a short daily practice component—about 10 minutes a day—using Duolingo. This will help you build consistency and confidence with the language in an interactive way.
Learning a new language opens doors to new cultures, connections, and opportunities. I'm looking forward to guiding you on this journey. Los geht’s! (Let’s go!)
